A freeze? In NM? This late? Crazy ass weather. When I'm elected King of the World, the first thing I'm going to do is change the weather back. Then I'm assembling my harem.

Well all are planted, And the second starts are out in the ground. I rolled a cig. with Turkish, Burly Yellow Twist Bud and Mexican vanilla Cavendish along with a bit of Latakia ( from deserdpipe).Any way I was standing in the bay window with the sun light coming in, And the air was calm in the room. The smoke was in a layer of light blue white hue as it floated gently up and down in the light. I didn't think much of it untill a buddy came by and lit a store bought. The smoke was totaly diferent in color and actualy stunk. It also had a diferent float to it. Hum? Maybe the crap in them.

Now I got to pay attention to color of smoke next time my friend lights a commercial cig near me. One more thing for curiosity to think about.

The plot for the request was not by far a good idea. No space and no way to care for them. I told the poor Guy that He needs alot of work befor I would be able to help Him out. There is no water, all wind and no way in or out to take care of them. Going to plant some Black Mammoth north of town and some Turkish Izmir in trade for the seed and leaf. I will plant free plants next year in turn. Using My back ups for this run. It's nice to get some one to grow Your tobacco so they get nice yard plants to look at. (minions)

Sad to say, but I had to give up the plot that I had in Clovis- No one to go in on the feild and the water bill cost far more than the tobacco is worth. I gave it all the the folks that planted it for Me for the trouble. I hope they get them transplanted soon befor they get plowed under. Got plenty more here LOL Great grow when there is a next plan number in play. I think this one is plan G.

LOL! I was planting some Black Mammoth yesterday after noon. And when I got to the ninth plant, I looked over My shoulder and the Guys dog had dug up six of them. I had to fall back and re plant the re plants LOL. The funny thing was the dog has an anti bark collar on. When it got by the plants again, I said speak and it did and ran away. I watched for a while planting and it never got by them again. LOL The Turkish Izmir is planted as well on the back side of the property. They all look good so fare. Sixty in all. HA HA HA
I'm having a blast this year on this grow even after I lost a few.

Lord We need the rain here. Amarillo was on fire and silver City NM has been on fire for over a week now (that is three this year here) The rain will be better than the City water. Had only one sprinkle this year. Didn't even wet the ground. No rain in over a year still. Linda came in with a bag full of 3/4 nuts, and said that was Me and My buddies. ( Where She got them big things, Beats ME) Five in all.

Desertpipe, It was actualy warm here last night at 42 deg. The snow was at the 7,000 ft elev. You got all the snow and wind last night. Looks like all day today as well. I had a small amount of moisture on the ground at 4:00 this morning. I have More anti freeze in hand Knucks. Fresh from the still. LOL Having work done to this pc in a little bit. Then I can drop back on My grow log to place the pics where they belong.

20 friggin' degrees on my porch this morning. Scooter still in the barn, and may not get out until Friday. Iris and lilac flowers are doomed, and the new leaves on all the oaks look like heck. The wood stove is in full use, and I am going to have to order up more propane, just in case this is not the last.....and they say 80 degrees by Saturday.....must be playing havoc with your grow this spring.

37 deg here this morning. No cover on plants. They can take the hit on that temp. now. Strange how the weather is so different in a 20 mile span? I watched it snow at 7,000' from 5,000 ft. with an over shirt on at 58 deg. I have a very spansive way to run My grow here. No rules as to what to do compared to every ones grows in their region. I love to see the diference in the way every one has to grow. I think the wind and cold gave Your joints a chill at Stag today? PS: I have an extera stove box LOL.
