a colder winter than normal,?????

here in florida, as a native i can usually tell what we may be in store for, by how cold it is around this time of year....

i know a lot of you northerner's may call me a p%$$@...but i cant handle too much coolness, it affects my lifestyle,,,

but when it gets down in the 50's, im just miserable, and nothing get's done because i aint going outside,,

it's at this time of year i wish my woman was a little bigger, and i allow my dogs to sleep in the bed [ to keep me warm ]

19 degrees Fahrenheit here this morning, and VERY WINDY (okay, I live on a peninsula, so it's always windy, but today is especially windy), so the wind chill factor makes it much colder.

It's warmed up here a little in the last couple days. Only down to 15f last night. lol We might even make it to the mid 30's today before the sun goes behind the trees at 2:30 pm. Sunset is now officially at 4:06 pm. I hate the dark more than the cold. But at this time of year, any day I don't have to plow snow I consider a good day. I really hate snow! It just makes doing anything you try to do all the more miserable.

I guess FL is at least 1000 km further south than my location/lattitude (I'm approx. on the 41[SUP]o[/SUP] N lattitude, same with CT). But it's still autumn here, when December comes, we'll think about the winter as usual. No frost yet but rainy, it's ok for me

I do, It sucks butt I do smoke in the bilco doors in the basement and get yelled at.15 degrees last night and froze my solar hot water system up that heats the house due to I did not adjust the controller for keeping the system temp up.
I have not forgot to fill the crockpots in the kiln yet?

This morning it was 9F and very windy. Wednesday they say it will get up to 60 in the day then down to 7 at night. It's been up and down like that every day or two. Very weird. And much colder than it usually is this time of year. Going to be a bad winter, I think. People around here are saying there are tons of acorns which is a sign of a bad winter coming.

here n florida we have what we call SNOWBIRDS.... '' old people who migrate to florida during the winter month's, and returns home when '' home'' thaws out.

in your country do you have people like that ? people who come over , and enjoy the summer in december. then split come may or june,?

when i lived in south florida, '' naples area'' for a year i met so many retired northern dicks, than i care to deal with....

i delivered lumber, and would try to help these people by putting it where, they would like to have thier product,,,,

and these people could not be satisfied,,'' AND MY JOB DESCRIPTION SAID ALL DELIVERIES ARE A DROP AND GO ''

but i was nice, and still got bitched at....

all snowbirds in my area will be treated like CANADIAN GEESE, and shot on sight,,,,lol
