Many of you know BigBonner (Larry Butcher) on this Forum and knows he grows great tobacco, as well as being a great guy. For the past year I have used his Havana for binder and wrapper, I first tried it as a binder and quickly realized that most of it is really wrapper quality. Big leaves, perfectly cured and a dark brown color I love. I roll mostly 5-6" x 50-52ish cigars and can often get 3-4 wrappers per leaf. Maybe not as dressy as the fancy wrapper stuff, but for the guys that roll a lot of cigars for his own use and want a very affordable wrapper, it works great. I would also strongly recommend it for the newbie just learning to roll, this Havana is very tough and forgiving: much of the fancy wrapper leaf is fairly fragile and can give a newbie problems until they learn the basics. His Broadleaf is also very good. Larry and his wife are a dying breed..... small American Farmer; they offer a great product at a fair price and offer great service.
