Black Mammoth, Anybody ever use?

Was wondering if anyone was fortunate enough to try Black Mammoth tobacco. Any good?

Yes, It is good for smoke and chew. Perfect for dip/snus

Mad, have you used it as a wrapper on a cigar? Does it hold up well?

Growing this year. Thick leathery leaf, probably not well suited for wrapper. It is a dark air variety. Look forward to seeing how it smokes.

Far from a wrapper. And makes a bumpy binder. Good for fillers and mix. very heavy veins and stems. Look at RAINMAX's grow. His are larger than Mine to see.

I used to use black mammoth a lot in my youth. Now the dang things are so hard to find. Have to go to Siberia to dig one up. They just don't taste the same frozen.

Both Black Mammoth and White mammoth are at Seedman and other places. As far as Siberia goes, there's Red Russian for sale at these sites too.

I have used small stem black mammoth for cigar, pipe, and cigarettes. It is really good stuff, wish I would have grown it this year but I never got it in the ground on time. Good throat hit, flavor, and smell!

I heard the white mammoth is really just mastodon anyways.

White Mammoth is not technicaly in the Mammoth group, I think. Gets the name from the leaf size and comes from the south pole, not the north.
