The Cigar Artistry of Marc Langanes: torcedor and photographer
a full-color, picture book
front cover
This volume is a selection of photographs taken by Marc Langanes of his own cigar craftsmanship. Marc Langanes joined the Fair Trade Tobacco Forum on March 11, 2013, under the user name of @MarcL. During his nine-year presence on the forum, Marc posted many hundreds of stunning photographs of his cigar-rolling efforts. In that time, he explored and mastered all of the traditional skills of the most senior torcedores everywhere. Marc might be considered much more than a talented torcedor. He was a cigar sculptor. He demonstrated in his photographs of his work a sensitive eye for photography, lighting, framing, and background arrangement.
