Hi my friends thank you for your guidance along the way of this new hobby. My question is in the photo my wraps are tight but the leaf looks bruised or permanently wilted if that makes sense. These are fresh made today. Will this bruising look on the rapper go away with time? Feel free to expand on the image to see details. Also please feel free to tell what needs improvement. Thank you

- What is the wrapper variety?
- How tightly were they squeezed into the mold?
- How long have they been out of the mold?

I assume that these are freshly wrapped and the wrapper leaf was fairly wet. The color should even out after a few days of drying. They look great as is though - good work!
Thank you and your correct just rolled them and I had a heavy case on the wrapper leaf. I appreciate that thank you.
The draw is perfect and it fit in the mold without issue the wrapper is a Connecticut and they were out of the mold for 5 mins then straight to wrapper
Unlike wooden cigar molds, plastic cigar molds retain whatever moisture is in the leaf.

Improperly cased and waterlogged. You started with too much moisture, or added more moisture while there was still dampness, before the leaf had fully absorbed the surface moisture. Start with a very fine mist and don't remist until there is no dampness to the touch. That will get you the best possible results.

I think these cigars look amazing! They did seem a tad on the wet side pronouncing those veins that much more. Alternatively, you could try using a marble or wooden rolling pin on the leaf to smooth some of your thicker veins. Also, not that it really matters, but I think you may have done a bunch of your caps inside out. Happened to me quite a few times. Even wrapped the dress on veins out once or twice. Point is they look great and as long as they smoke well it doesn’t matter what they look like. Just needs a few extra days in a dry box or sitting on your table with any RH below 70. Keep at it! Once you hit the 300 or so rolled cigars you’ll really get a feel for proper casing. took me some time to figure it out too.
