Ciao, I apologize for any errors with English I write from Italy
Hi so the so-called wrapper is applied on the leaves of burlay is it ok? Right? but if a particular aroma is to be added, should it be applied to the whole mixture consisting of Virginia and oriental?

thanks

I only smoke cigarettes, but other members will soon chime in and give you advice. Check the index of key forum threads, lots of useful information there.

@Serin, You can make a cigar from any variety of tobacco or combination of tobacco varieties. Different regions of the world have traditionally used different varieties for their cigars. But each tastes different. If you are accustomed to Cuban-style cigars, then you use one or more of the many cigar type tobaccos. Cigarettes are often made from Virginia tobacco, and may be blended with Oriental and Burley.

I have rolled and smoked pure burley cigars. They have a wonderful flavor, but tend to be too strong in nicotine for me. Also, burley may absorb more moisture while you smoke. So the cigar can go from a perfectly dry cigar to a soggy one as you smoke it.

Grazie per la tua risposta, ma mi riferivo alla preparazione del tabacco per sigarette

Thank you for your reply, but I was referring to the preparation of cigarette tobacco.

Cigarettes with leaf wrappers are considered cigarillos I believe and, the filler and/or wrapper can be casted. (flavored)
Le sigarette con involucri di foglie sono considerate sigaretti credo e, il riempitivo e / o l'involucro possono essere lanciati. (aromatizzato)

For burley you could use a simple casing of some corn syrup, Chocolate syrup and vanilla.

It's up to your preference. I would start light, then try stronger. The main purpose of casing burley is to smooth out the strength but some use it to cover up undesirable traits. WLT sells casings for different purposes. The price is reasonable so you can try experimenting with them.
