Cigar MFG in historical archives of Baker City Oregon, 1906

I am trying to find any boxes locally from this mfg. Really neat, I think.

We have some very interesting history here, would this Triumph cigars be a company with Mr.Flynn's being factory #156.

That is how I read the sign anyways. Enjoy

The second image appears to be years earlier from than the first, judging by their clothing.

At the turn of the century, the US had many thousands of cigar factories. I think New York City had over a thousand.

"1885 First cigar factory opened in Seattle, Washington Territory. At peak had 9 rollers, packer, stripper."
"1892 Ben Haverkamp establishes cigar factory (Fact. 50, Dist Oregon) in Tacoma, Washington Territory, to make FLOR DE VALDEZ, OLYMPIC, STATE SEAL and LITTLE DUKE cigars."

The first photo, McCord building still stands. I will try to get a photo of it. I believe the owner is in all of these photos, there are over ten thousand files in the archive, the of the photos referencing Mr. Fynn.
