After filling tubes the bit of tobacco at the end always wants to fall off.
How do I make it so after filling I don't have to roll the ends? Store bought ciggies always look much better with their clean ends.
Does glycerin instead of water help?

I pack a little loose, tamp the filter on the table and then twirl the end to hold in the tobacco. As a part of my routine it’s very quick. Perfect draw and the tobacco doesn’t fall out. I don’t smoke a lot and I usually just roll one smoke one even on cigarettes to keep the case right. I take a pack if I go somewhere.

I tend to just pull the few strands out and then pack by hitting filter on workbench to compress. I also have an electric thing that I can use to round the ends, I use it only about 10% of the time, more pain than it's worth sometimes. I also will cut the end to make it clean, or most of the time, I just hit the filter a couple of times on the work bench and put the cigarette in the box, will loose a very small amount of tobacco, but only a couple of strands.

Just my two cents worth

Cheers

I either overpack them and cut the protruding tobacco with scissors, or snip off the last 1/8"to make a clean edge.

If tobacco is actually falling out, its either too dry or cut too small or both.
That’s what I do as well, I have a little electric tool I bought for $30, it spins fast you put the end of the stick in a small hole and it rolls the paper over the end of the stick, preventing tobacco from falling out, it is faster and less of a pain to trim them or use a cigar cutter, plus the end looks funny - all you see is a paper end
