DeStemming Red Tips, Yes or No before Shredding

I have a bunch of bags of tips.
They look like a pita to destem.
I have in the past but This desteming and shredding every night is getting old.
I have to get this done tho. I have a hell of a mess going.

The tip leaf is so rich, flavorful and potent, that it would be a shame to dilute it with the relatively high proportion of stem mass. I would suggest a quick frog-leg of each leaf, just to get rid of that thick part of the stem.

stems don't smoke well. i sometimes destem while watching tv. two small totes and a garbage can while sitting on the couch gets a lot done and a little every nite and it is done.
