Hey guys, I'm a good way through curing my crop but this being my first time I am seeing some questionable stuff on some of my leaves. Some of the stems on the Virginia Gold were finally dry so I started taking them down and checking them out and on a few I saw a few dark spots and on a few I saw a really slight, barley noticeable without scrutiny area of white powder looking stuff. The first two pics are of the dark spots and the second two pics are of the powdery look I am referring to. What do you guys think? I may be a little paranoid on this one but I would like to make snus so I cant have any mold or mildew. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.20201001_095352.jpg20201001_095451.jpg20201001_095630.jpg20201001_095658.jpg

I'm not seeing anything abnormal on the first two pics. The second two look like you had some white mold on them at one point that has since dried down. If so I would not use that for snus.
This would be a good question for @deluxestogie - I would hate to give you bad advice on mold issues.

So you both agree nothing is wrong with the first 2?
I didn't notice anything abnormal. Some black/dark spots are normal on dried leaf and are not mold. If you are seeing something I'm not that has you concerned then cut that section out. You might also want to remove a good portion of the midrib. That is usually the slowest to dry and where mold tends to be the worse. You probably don't want any thick midrib in your snus anyway.
