I saw they had a book on tobacco production here at the library that was published in 1909, so I decided to take a look. It looks like most of the info in it was pretty much what I have been reading on here, but I did take some pictures to look at later, specifically of various regimens for flue curing what it called "yellow leaf". I can post them later if y'all are interested, since I have only seen the one graphic that floats around here, but I can attach the title page now.

archive.org has several old tobacco books and articles online. Search tobacco, tobacco Killebrew, etc. Several documents and/or books by Killebrew pull up. Neat to find an actual book.
Pretty cool to hold a 120 year old tobacco reference in your hands. Knowing it was handled by guys with the same passion over that many generations. That adds a whole new dimension. That was the FTT of those days.
Killebrew's first book, Report on the Culture and Curing of Tobacco in the United States, is fabulous historical reading. It's available as a modern (copyright-free) reprint at Thriftbooks.com:
