Peanut Butter Cup Pudding Pie

Garden20240316_7326_PeanutbutterCupPie01_600.jpg

Prep time: ~15 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1 small box of chocolate instant pudding mix
  • ~4 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter (or twice as much)
  • 1 ready-made graham cracker crust
  • 2 cups of Half-n-Half (or whole milk)

Steps:
  1. Spread peanut butter over the interior of the crust, about as thickly (or twice as thickly) as on a sandwich.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of Half-n-Half (or whole milk), add the pudding powder, then whisk for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour pudding mix into the crust, using a rubber spatula to scrape the bowl clean.
  4. Distribute the partially set pudding evenly inside the crust.
  5. Refrigerate for a couple of hours.

The difficult part is licking the whisk and the spatula, prior to washing them. But it's your duty to assign that onerous task to either yourself or your designee.

Whipped cream or Cool Whip would taste good on top, but might break the peanut butter cup illusion.

Hmm, I like chocolate and I like peanut butter. And graham cracker crusts. Might have to try this.
