I don't know much about cigars but isn't one leaf at $6 a little high in price ?

Yes. And, yes.

It was probably procured by the "packager" and marketeer at a couple of dollars a pound. But city folk compare it to the ready-packaged "blunt wraps," which cost even more! Reminds me of the Japanese paying $50 for a square watermelon.
