Hey everyone name of Jacob here. This year is my first shot at growing tobacco for personal use I have some nicotina rustica in the ground already and they are still small but I’m looking for any suggestions or relevant threads on how to cultivate them better (I have found a few but I don’t think the search function likes me lol) my main purpose for that is ceremonial. But I would also like to find some good varieties to make chew or dip from and some help in that process. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it! Also just some other things about me a love snakes and have several im a small time city grower ( containers).
Thanks in advance.
The picture is the rustica taken today

Hopi? I’m not sure if that is the strain or not to be honest I wasn’t aware there were as many strains as they’re are until a few hours ago when I was looking around on here.

Take a look at @skychaser website, if your intended use of rustica is mainly for ceremonial purposes he has traditional First Nations strains. Out of curiosity, here’s a link to former member @JessicaNicot master thesis on all things rustica:
We have a member from Ukraine who knows a lot about ex-USSR rustica strains (I hope he’s well and wish him good luck) maybe he will chime in again someday in the future.
