Hi everyone, I'm Jay and i have been smoking a pipe around a year now. I have started processing my own tobacco. I started with some bright Virginia.
Stoved it for 6 days at 125F
Rested it another 5 days at room temp
Pressed it in a spaghetti press i found on amazon.
I held it pressed at room temp for 2 days, then into a 130f oven under pressure.
Held it at 130F for 2 days and wow what a difference, I'm going to let it age for a couple months in a mason jar.
Already got some red and more bright Virginia and some St.' James perique for the next round.

Belated welcome to the forum. You may wish to scan through the topics in our Index of Key Forum Threads, linked in the menu bar.

I looks like you are well on your way to successful pipe blending. Be sure that the pressed tobacco that you store is in no higher case than low case, to avoid mold growing.

If you don't mind me asking...where'd you get your tobacco leaves from?
