Hello from Finland

Greetings everybody!

We are two guys from Finland that have recently started experimenting with growing cigar tobacco and just happened to come by this extremely informative forum.
We'll be starting a thread very soon to document our project and show the results of (trying) to grow cigar tobacco in the Finnish climate.

Thanks, we're from the south-southwestern archipelago region that has a somewhat temperate climate. We're mainly going to grow indoors but we hope that the summer will be warm and long enough to experiment with outdoor growing also.

Ha that is nice, having indoor growers on the forum. Good luck with all of it. So which variety or varieties are you growing exactly. Where did you get your seed? Welcome to the forum! Maybe you can list your location in your profile so people we'll be reminded that you're from Finland when they see you posting. It always helps me, cause there's so many people around on the forum. Haha, yeah the indoor growing was mainly out of necessity when we started (due to some logistical problems that have since been somewhat solved) but it has been working well over our expectations.
We got our seeds from The Tobacco Seed Company and are currently growing Connecticut Broadleaf, Habano 2000, Cuban Criollo 98 and Goose Creek Red.
