Hi all, thanks for sharing your knowledge and help. ive been reading a bunch from here for a year or so, thought id better make an account.

Im from NZ, where the tax is getting insane. been that way for a while, i should have started growing sooner. could've bought way more chips and lollies. and a new roof.

I have no experience of the process of growing -> smokable tobacco, but ive been applying everything ive read to my situation here, and i think its generally going well. no doubt next year will be simpler.. ill post the pics ive taken along the way in a growlog.

cheers

Welcome, as a Worm herder, if you have any recommendations for dealing with hammerhead worms, I'd be very grateful. I've got a lot in my yard and I'm sure that's a big reason why I don't have many earthworms.

that looks like it came from the jungle
Iirc, they originate from SE Asia. Thanks to global shipping we've got them in North America. Sounds like you have them in NZ too? I've given up on trying to increase earthworm populations on my property because of the hammerhead worms.

ive been talking to chatgpt a lot throughout my first harvest and setup of my hot-room. its awesome at some things.. useless at others. i asked it about hammerhead worms in nz and what youd do to treat a yard and yea they sound like a nightmare.. apparently we have them up north where its warmer/drier

heres what i read, but its pretty much the same as what Bob linked.
