Admins/creators, how about a detailed story about your guys' tobacco experience and your personal history, and the history of FTT. I'm interested in how it all started (it seems to have a history tied in with HTGT so I'm just curious as to how this all started) thanks!

i believe we are a group of individuals, who got fed-up, with government and it's taxes, and big companies, who is intrested in profit's, and screwing the farmer, of his right to make a profit,

we seen a way to avoid, this law,,,made by a un-ruly overpowered gov,

and took a matter in our own hand's, and that is to produce our own tobacco, and let the noose the gov, has on baccy product's,

loose,

..returning, to a way of life, from our past , anscector's who raised thier own baccy,,,and sometimes thier own livestock,

............

allthough i'd say some grow it for, a more custom blend, to what they smoke,{ f,t,t's cigar producers have some of the best knowledge on the topic of cigar tobacco's, ive ever seen}

H.T.G.T.,,,,, has a lot of rules and guidelines that go against the basis, that f.t.t. was formed on,

discuss selling some of your baccy, over at H,T,G,T, and see what happens<

Actually, I started FTT as a free forum to my Whole leaf site when we were told that discussing the sale of whole leaf was forbidden at HTGT. There was a little disagreement among the members, but everyone was civil about it.

Even though we talked about selling whole leaf on the new FTT, most of us were still very active at HTGT. I promoted HTGT every opportunity I got and made a comment to that regard in a post (at HTGT).

Next thing I knew, there was a public lynching of FmGrowit and all my posts were methodically removed (about 1400 I believe).

Within 2 weeks, I upgraded the free godaddy forum to the worlds most powerful bulletin board.

I can't help but compare stats with HTGT and it appears to me people prefer to be unrestricted in what they talk about. We're growing every day and for the past 6 -8 months, we out post HTGT by about 10 to 1.

I'm not sure if you ever read the rules to the site, but I made a very simple statement..."We're all adults here, I don't need to make any rules, you already know what they are". I think we've had to ban 5 or 6 users and only because they were spammers.
