The temp outside is hovering around -5 degrees F. and we have seven inches of powdery snow on the ground that a 30 MPH wind is blowing around. As you may know this is a perfect recipe for a Sun Dog, but the next time you see one look strait up into the sky and you might see a Circumzenithal Arc.
I snapped the picture today and the link is a web photo that shows the different types of Halos that you might see around the sun in similar weather conditions.
