my baccy has been in the kiln, for 7 + weeks, [ the older hands ]

due to the constant rain, i wasnt able to hang them as long as i wanted to in the shed,

so they colour cured, and went right into the kiln, after observing some mildew,

i have some more green leaf ready to come out of the patch, and must cure them in the kiln so i gotta make some room in the kiln,

ive shredded, a couple hands so far 6 in total [ and sampled each batch, and it was quiet good actually ]

my jars are filling up quicklly,

im not sure i would keep those lids tight. there was a guy on pbs that said for bug spray use lemon dish soap, listerene, and tobacco juice. it was just chewing tobacco in hot water, then you strain out the tobacco, and end up with brown water.

ok, now, he said to put it in mason jars, but leave the lid loose because it will ferment and cause pressure, and blow the jar up eventually. so im not sure if low case tobacco would do the same?

I don't think there will be any problem. Many of us store low to medium case leaves in sealed plastic bags and they don't inflate.
