Is FTT iphone friendly?

I don't own an iphone, but I think I remember some saying FTT needs an app. Is this something I should be looking into for you members who do access the site with those little tiny computer phones?

I don't own or use one but if you are interested in accessing the younger market I think you should.

I access the site a lot of the time with my iPhone. It works pretty well. The only problem is if you are not logged in then the cig man gets in the way of the login part. But by choosing to stay logged in all the time, that isn't a problem. Even if there was an app, I would probably still use the browser on my iPhone. I have found that website apps tend to run a little slower than using the browser.

Don't need one IMO. I read this site 99% of the time from my phone and am posting this from it right now. There is a dropdown menu in the lower left that puts a cookie on the device to always display in the boards mobile template. It was hard viewing until I found that but it works 100% perfect.

EDIT; i just asked one of my daughters, [ 17 ] about the app's and how frequentlly did, she and her friends use them, and were they beneficial and helpfull.

SHE SAID they are very helpfull, and she and her friends uses the app's a lot, because it makes it quicker to navigate what they are doing,

so i;d say go for it, { im amazed at how the younger generation, ;' knows'' and master's the computer, thier is just too much for me to comprehend,}

I use a samsung touch phone for my primary internet access. I view FTT in html format. Can't upload video or photos though. I tried the mobile format but have problems seeing the whole site. If I had an i-phone I would probably still use it the same way, no app.

Don, I use an Iphone for work and personal use, I usually visit FTT (about 30 times a day) I have no issue using my browser on my phone, but I can't deny I would love an FTT app. Not having to pinch/stretch the screen to zoom in would be amazing. I'm part of that younger crowd johnlee was talking about, you've got my vote!

Hey guys, i dont have an iphone (never will) but use an android phone 99% of the time i access this site. I just use the browser and find these apps annoying as heck. They all seem to have tons of bugs (got enough bugs in my garden) and need updating all the time. Uses too much memory on the phone, plus the apps slow down the phone in general. Perfect example would be the app for facebook.... update twice a week and it still never works as it should, and the app and updates are HUGE. I went back to using the browser for everything.

i use this site from my iphone all the time. Maybe someone with the time and ambition should make an app......
