Look what I found...

While wandering through my yard this morning, I found this invader near my melon patch: a wicked plant parasite called dodder.




Fortunately it was small enough to where I was able to yank it and every plant it was attached to out of the ground. Took a bit of time to make sure I didn't miss any of it. I'd only ever seen it on wild plants out fishing, so I was a little startled when I found it in my yard today.

Anyone else here ever deal with this?
