Menthol cigarette Tobacco

I have seen a couple threads about this but no real solid info on creating menthol tobacco. I personally always preferred more the natural tobacco than anything but my wife enjoys her menthols.

I just got a couple OZs of menthol crystals and i have a few crystals in folded paper towel in a small tupperware with a cig blend.

I don't think it is doing much. I am planning on trying a couple things.

1. putting fresh peppermint and or spearmint leaves in the tobacco and letting it age

Or

2. Dissolving a teaspoon of crystals into an oz of 128proof mixing that with 1/2 cup water and misting and letting dry.

I have seen misting mentioned but what has been your guys results?

I have never tried them but I have seen menthol tubes. Cheap and easy to try. If you don’t like them you’ve lost no tobacco, just $4 worth of tubes.

I do know of those though i roll hers by hand with a smaller filter and since she doesnt smoke a whole lot im not sure its worth the investment of an injector. I do like that electric one could pump a lot out with that.

I could also mentholate the filters that i use.

Menthol crystals will kick it up some I used to do it.

I had an ex girlfriend years ago that smoked newports, I tried to emulate the menthol formula but failed miserably ...if you do dissolve the crystals use a higher proof drinking alcohol and no water..
be careful on how much you dissolve, a little goes a long way, once its dissolved, spray it on the tobacco you have prepared and let it dry. it will take a few days or longer..
I once made it so strong that I swear i could taste menthol for days afterward, lol, was not a good test...
I tried to calculate how much crystal to use but it wasnt easy to figure out the spray formula, I think the percentage was .04 or something like that
