New UK Smoking Ban

I just learned about this smoking ban. So many things wrong with a blanket ban that will completely destroy all tobacco sources in the UK. Informed consent regarding the health risks that tobacco use causes would be far better. I know tobacco can be harmful, but I choose to accept that. It is habit forming, just like candy, alcohol, or coffee. I choose to make this habit part of my relaxation rituals.

Probably a right thing to do as nicotine is a hard drug to quit. Social part of smoking or vaping becomes irrelevant in a bigger picture. You won't miss it if you haven't tried it, right? But they tried to ban alcohol too, now making shitloads of money out of it.

Yeah i live in the UK and atm everything here Sucks ass. Excuse the language! A lot of brits have denounced their british citizenship and moved to the likes of dubai because of how things are here with the economy, inflation, tax and absolutely ridiculous prime ministers and secretary's trying to bring in new garbage laws such as the smoking ban. Its heading for another big recession/credit crunch very soon. How the hell these laws are passed in parliament is beyond me. I get that smoking causes forms of harm/disease but every smoker knows exactly what they are getting into. It should be a personal choice as to whether you quit or you carry on smoking. You can't force people into it. It wouldn't suprise me if they move tobacco into a class C or B drug soon.
