I can get cigs in Canada and been asking if we can get leaf. May I post a link if a member asks for it from Canada. Or Can Don again buy tobacco and have it shipped within Canada for Canadian Virginia. The typical duty paid on what it is coming through customs. It is legal to ship leaf in Canada

Is shipping happening now? Heard it's rotating. I was on the other day to see what shipping was. It appeared fine to me.

Yes, it is a rotating strike, but the postal system may not survive in any case. As well, this "rotating strike" will likely go back to a full strike.
In general I think that putting aside the postal problem, tobacco shipments in general may be banned in the future as they say "for the better good"
The best thing to do right now is to learn to grow one's own tobacco as it will save a lot of aggravation.

Hello everyone,
It's strange that these shortages have led to a ban on the sale of whole tobacco leaves. That's certainly what happened in France, as well as in Spain and Portugal.

It is now illegal for individuals to buy whole tobacco leaves, regardless of their origin.
I sincerely hope that this won't end up happening in your country.
The price of commercial cigarettes has also increased sharply; it must cost around €15 for a pack of 20 these days.
Growing your own has become necessary, and if I were you, I would expect some unpleasant surprises, even if you haven't reached that point yet in Canada.

Native cigs one supplier I like. 271 for 20 cartons. Out of a pound of leaf I get about 450 cigs out a pound. That is due to using export tubes that roll .9 grams a tube. So when going fishing I tend to put less tobacco in a tube and smoke a little more. So with the native market being able to ship tobacco I doubt that will happen anytime soon.
