Perique as favoring in Cigar Blend

I have been out of rolling for several years and getting back in. I played around with BigBonner Perique a little, but don't remember the exact ratios. I do remember it seemed to do well with some Mata Fina filler. Any of you guys have any experience with Perique as a favoring tobacco.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Perique blended with cigar leaf will significantly raise the pH (more alkaline), and dramatically increase nicotine absorption. That would be a pretty potent smoke.

I've smoked (a tiny portion of) a pure perique cigar. Bad idea. I've rolled a cigar using an English pipe blend with perique, which tasted like smoking a pipe.
