Perique in cigarettes

I bought some of Larry's Perique to blend with my pipe tobacco blends made from my homegrown. I told my wife she owes Larry since I don't have to smell up the basement making my own Perique.

While I was at it I also picked up some of his Bright Leaf and since I had some of his Burley Red Tips 2012 I got from Johnlee I decided to make an all Big Bonner cigarette blend with Bright Leaf, Red Tips, and Perique. It tastes really good. I don't have exact proportions. Probably 70% VBL, 20% Red Tips and 10% Perique.

Great! Custom blend home made ciggies... Far superior than anything offered commercially !
Way back when I used small amounts of Don's early Perique batches in my ciggies. It was great, in small amounts.

Perique will raise the pH, increasing the rate of nicotine absorption. So go easy.

A little Perique goes a long way .
My last batch seems to me to be ok . This batch has always had a good smell to it .

I made a DIFFERENT whole leaf batch al most two years ago . It smelled like crap at almost a year old . I left it pressed and at times not pressed and kind of gave up on that batch .
Then I thought about pressing it again and leaving it under pressure . I took some of it out of that barrel a few days ago and it has changed by smell big time . The crap smell seems to be gone and a whole different odor has come out .

Inquiring minds want to know.

(I recently had a obamacare surgery which placed a tube directly between my ears to lessen turbulence as things pass through, so I am no longer in the inquiring mind group. It's free, no deductable, and almost painless, in my case.)
