Perique smell

I bought some Perique a while back and it has a very strong smell, like horse manure. When I roll sticks, I can definitely tell I’m smoking one before I light it, even when mixed with non-Perique blend smokes in a pack. Any way to prevent this?

For cigarettes, try keeping the proportion of Perique below about 5%.
