You have all inspired me, and the cigar industry discouraged me...rolled my own cigar(illo)

I got an assortment of dark air cured leaves and started mixing them with my cigarette tobacco....really does amazing things to my smoke; creamy, earthy, fruity, coffee and other exotic food flavors.

The assortment has some leaves that are fairly intact and others that have sections that will do...and voila.

It ain't pretty, it might be the smallest ugly cigar ever rolled but...smoked a little funny, should have waited more than 30 minutes for it to dry...but it smoked and tasted quite nice.

I used a stronger blend of perique, red, little turkish and a touch of burley and some of the other dark air as a filler, skipped the binder this time.

Granted there's no binder and it's not a long filler, but it made a nice ash and I smoked the whole thing, wanting another one.

Cheers

One sampler…. Lol. Seems kinda fun. Hopefully they are a catalyst to some enjoyment.

Foot bands with blend info I raised a bit. That way you can spark it up still without having to mess with the band right away. @deluxestogie Your message to me about the white bands being a bit of a pain, resoundingly sticks with me every day to this day! Lol. Great feedback! Pain for them to be removed and can sometimes be a pain to apply.

Next batch of smokes wrapped up! Still need to toss some bands on that I just designed and printed up. Not pictured are 10x long/short fill sticks from left over prepped up leaf. In addition to ~25x more long/short fill smokes (50 & 52 rng) that are still in molds waiting for me to prep some wrappers up for them.

Top are 40 rng (lancero) bottom are 50 rng (Robusto). The culebras on either side are my first 2 attempts at making them. Shout out to @waikikigun for his videos on a culebra walkthrough! Appreciate ya brother!

I too, would like to thank @adamziegler - my cousin printed this for me in July, this year's harvest is ready to give it a test run. 54x4.5

Great looking sticks @MadFarmer ! Nice looking mold as well. Fire any of them up yet?

Makes me want to break out the 3D printer again and attempt to figure out its nuances. Always had issues with the filament not sticking to the base. Got too frustrated with it.

Over Christmas I finally had some time to roll another batch of "The Killer" as I dont have any left from springtime, and I was looking forward to using my new Corona molds. 23 sticks total with 18 at 42rg and 5 at 46rg. I did update the date on the bands as well. One thing I will note: I am done attempting double or triple round caps, screw it. I suck at them compared to my flag pointed caps. First picture is my best attempt at a round cap second is my best flag cap. Was joking maybe I should look into perfecting the pigtail and make it standard. Ha. I am proud of the construction otherwise. Looking forward to comparing this vitola with the different size.20251229_214701.jpg20251229_214819.jpg20251229_215053.jpg20251229_221017.jpg
Thank you Mr Ziegler for opening the doors for the rest of us with the molds. 13 of these came from your blueprints.
