I discovered a fairly substantial bottom sucker hiding in the straw mulch of one of my Krumovgrad plants, and stuck it in some water to see if it would root. It did, and now I have potted it out. Will this turn into something useful?
Here it is, just over 3 weeks later. It fell over so I staked it, same as the first time I grew it. I wonder if my Northern latitude and tree shade are to blame. The Orientals are lanky.
