hi, I'm new to this forum and this is my post, I picked up some tobacco leaves (some with leaves like crocodile skin and some with yellowish tips) and I said to put them in a polystyrene box to make them yellow ( I would like to do the rajangan) however some birthmarks are becoming yellow with a bit of green and brown, some instead initially become a bit yellow and then the brown eats up the yellow.
My question is whether what is happening is good or bad, whether I did something wrong and whether this brown on the leaves ruins the leaf and forces me to throw it away.
Sorry for the long post.
Thank you

Welcome to FTT
Where do you live in Italy? From your description, seems that the leaves you harvested were at least mature, so color curing shouldn’t be an issue, unless you live in a cold place (like mine). IIRC making rajangan consists in shredding the still green leaves then cure them in the sun (I may be grossly wrong here though) so no box curing needed. @ChinaVoodoo is our rajangan expert, he will help for sure.
Can you post a few pics of your curing leaves?
