I'm doing some research into phosphorus fertilizers, in terms of how they are used for large scale tobacco farming. I have many questions.

I'll just start with: For organic tobacco, what are the most popular phosphorus fertilizers? Is rock phosphate used much? Or are other organic ones used more? And for non-organic tobacco, I've read a lot about triple super phosphate. Is that the standard for when non-organic tobacco crops need phosphorus?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum. Our forum members include only a tiny number of large scale tobacco growers, so your questions about fertilizer approaches might take a while to find a response.

Tobacco Information from Cooperative Extension Services
Due to the current political climate, many state university extension services have eliminated or hidden their previously expansive web pages on the subject of tobacco growing. With some, if you navigate to the main page for the extension service, then search “tobacco”, available pages and publications might be found.
