My guess is the leaf probably isn't worth curing yet, but if you want to mess around with it...string it up and keep it low to the ground so it doesn't dry green. If the leaves were bigger, you would crowd then together on the string and put them in the sun, bring them in at night or cover them. When you string the leaf, just make sure the string is under at least one vein. No need to go threw the rib with the needle. If you decide to string any of the crop, I used a coat hanger and cut it 8" long. Put 1/4" in a vice and flattened it so I could drill a 1/16" hole in it. Sharpen the other end on a grinder or sander. I use nylon mason string for all my stringing, the cotton string isn't strong enough for most of my sticks.

When the Ottoman matures, cure it like your Burley. Which Samsun did you grow? I've only grown Samsun 15 and it got just as big as the Ottoman, so I don't see why you couldn't cure it the same way. Another Oriental that works really well by stalk curing is Bursa.
