Got me a sawmill. Kept me me busy refitting engine and other aspects.. 1st time in 18 yrs didn't do any gardens. Tiller was needing new engine and friend who was going to go in half on a 3 point tiller chickened out.lol I have so many large Post oaks dead or dying over here, I am turning them into useful lumber and buck.
Will attach pics after uploaded to web.

It is an activity that (in
Romania) "produced" many rich people (some extremely rich), of course with the legal or illegal cutting of most forests. You can earn some money to "round" the family income. Success!

I do it strictly for personal. I have a shop full of air dried for 15 years of what I'm cutting now. I use for cabinets. Sell when I use it. I'm cutting now to fix a bridge on my road. Freebie harvest, mill and bridge repair. 3" boards green at 10' can weigh close to 175- 200 lbs in spring time.

I am on 13 heavily wooded acres, Post oaks die like crazy, a new species of White oak is taking its place.

I am located in Europe. Years ago, we repaired (welded) the sails of those sawmills (only for acquaintances).

As I was saying, the mill is not nearly as impressive as the trailor my friend built to hold it. We got removable tounge first off keeps thieves at Bay,lol , can't hook up. More than I can say, the guy had his shit together.

When you see a flatbed bowed up, that's how he built this trailer. When you add a ton it don't bow down, levels out. Lol
