Hello, i've been welcomed to this forum and suggested to post here by "deluxestogie" so here goes a little about me.

I'm a newcomer to this whole ordeal. I am from the Netherlands and taxes on tobacco have gone nuts in my opinion over here, leading me to look into buying it in bulk. No such thing as buying bulk orders of processed tobacco in the Netherlands apparently, so ended up looking at whole leaf tobacco. Down a rabbit hole figuring out what's even in cigarettes and whether this was a viable option. Having seen a handful of youtube videos saying that it's as simple as ordering leaf, shredding it and smoking it, i placed my first order.

First order in, shredded, injected. i suddenly run into issues and can't for the life of me find any useful videos or sites. Except for this site. Read alot, Learned alot and decided i'd make an account to ask some questions directly. So far i've received way more responses and surprisingly faster than i had expected.

So to those who took upon the time to read this introduction and those who have and potentially will respond and help me i want to say thank you for providing this resource, i wouldn't have known where else to go hahaha

That is why I do whole leaf...a pack of cigs would cost me over $20...but with whole leaf the cost is down to $3.50. It took me some time to learn...but really it pays nicely...I can fill 250/hour so when I'm filling tubes I feel like I'm making $170/hr...but in reality it is a lot more than filling tubes. My set up is pretty simple now. I hope they don't start taxing whole leaf the same way...or maybe I do because I would have to quit! Somehow I have a lot of friends who smoke...somehow they find black market cigarettes! I guess I look too much like a cop because in all these years nobody has ever offered me illegal cigarettes. Here's my shredder...to me as far as I'm concerned it is the thing that really makes it feasible. I've gotten better at using it and braver too, today I did two pounds in 15 minutes...but I like my injector and I like my finisher too...if you look through my videos you should find my Powermatic 3 injector and see my finisher...with those three things I feel like the more I smoke the more I save...the finisher is optional but I really like the tight end on the cig and I despise loose crumbs wasted in the bottom of my cigarette package. When I've traveled in europe I smoked Rothmans because they were the familiar mostly virginia cigs I'm use to.

I have smoked many black market ciggaretes , China being the largest tobacco producer in the world...

There's a mental aspect of smoking them ,.. if you know anything of large tobbaco production...

Taste like lots of paper/ cardboard/ recyclables .. chance of feces

There definitely sprayed and have a chemical taste ..

Best way of describing , cardboard pesticide taste .. you have to majorely adjust to smoke and can't full inhale..you are not missing out , they run $20 a carton , and have shops set up as a front where only profit comes from those...

If you can find them ( I think only available in 5 US States ..clipper ciggarillos at two dollars a pack .. are ten times better

Lots of Asians in California , they even go as far as branding them US Military Tax Exempt

I prefer ryo gambler turkish ( light blue bag ) , or my own blends of whole leaf , Even over Camel lights ( preferred store bought) would rather have the RYO..
