This one is the best Don has had yet. Its design makes for easy maintenance and less tobacco trapped in the edges and other crevices. I have tried and bought all types he's sold in the past few years.

A wire brushing of the rollers after each use and a vodka bath twice a month keep it like new.

I highly suggest fastening it to a thick heavy board for speedier operation. I wrote a short review of it just now on its page.

Hope all are doing well, its been one humid summer in these parts (upstate NY).

that's the one.

No protective metal bar on the sides of the rollers, never saw any purpose to that older style. This one has slightly longer rollers that are also easier to keep clean. Not many places to trap tiny tobacco debris in this one.
