Hey guys I'm thinking of bringing some tobacco through my luggage when I come back to NZ.
As you remember they banned tobacco imports via international mail and require a permit now. But I remember trading bringing via luggage is unchanged, do you guys have any tips I guess it will need to be heat treated do I declare to both customs and mpi as unmanufactured.

This is what I am looking at. Thanks.

Tobacco law changes will see stricter border rules on imports
Tobacco law change will see stricter rules at New Zealand's border in an effort to help seize and destroy prohibited imports.
