Transplanting into shredded Baccy ?

I did my germination test on my seeds and wondered how sprouts will grow in shredded Baccy. Anyone ever try it?

i would be worried about tobacco diseases and funguses being spread when the plants are bombarded with every thing from last years grow.

I wouldn`t do it, if I dont have it wrong mosaic etch virus comes from processed tobacco products!!

i feel like tobacco is like tomatoes and it is recomended to distroy all vegitation at the end of the season to help with deseases. don't tobacco and tomatoes have a lot of the same problems?

I am just experimenting to see the outcome.
No Good Baccy Was Wasted in This experiment just moldy Baccy.
The seedlings are only getting thrown away anyway.

These were the seedlings from my seed germination test from what I grew this last season.
Still too early to start seeds here. Damn I got the itch now seeing them seeds pop.
I just unloaded the kiln for the last time on Sunday and am Baccy Board. I can't keep My head out of the Bags of Baccy Sniffing the differences.
My wife thinks I'm nuts .

Sounds good.I know the feeling, the snails went hard on my tobacco this year.As long as you learn from mistakes it is good.
