Hello

Hope everyone is well wondering if anyone can sell me some seed please? I live in the UK can PayPal you for the postage and seeds, or could you suggest online sources?

Have looked below but doesn’t appear to be any recent discussions?

Many thanks

Stuart

The tobaccoseed.co.uk is an excellent source for seed. The owner, Jack Basharan, was the very first on line seller of tobacco seed and has been in business since 1999. He is located in Essex. He also ships world wide.

Jack was my first big commercial buyer and we have been doing business for over 10 years now. He has some of the newest seed in my collection that is not available anywhere else at this time, except directly from me in the list I posted here in the FTT forum. You will also find my smoking fox icon on his site. It was created by my step daughter in Lowestoft England. He uses it with my permission. It is an animated gif image, but unfortunately I can only use the static version here.

Welcome to the forum, @little ferret. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum. If you will be growing this year, then consider starting your own grow log in the Grow Blogs section.

Thanks.at the moment I'm building a collection of seeds mostly from tobaccoseeds.but I've got to wait until the dodgy British weather has calmed down.got a sherazi, a Virginia #1 and several Harrow velvet plants on the go at the moment (I love my burley) I'm getting quite a collection so I'll definitely think about a grow log

What we do here is check the last average frost date in the local area weather station and start seed inside two months prior. I use seedling mats. After the last frost date I give the local weather forecast a look over and transplant to patch. I use Imidacloprid in the transplant water and that takes care of aphids until around bud time or later.

Aside from the Imidacloprid at transplant, I apply BT about every two weeks by spraying the leaves for horn worms. I forget how early I stop spraying before harvest. Most pesticide makers sell it.

If I see slug damage I either look for them and ease their suffering or apply something like sluggo or other snail killer around the patch perimeter. That’s it as far as pesticides for me. With a small patch you can find the slugs at night with a flashlight.
