Hi.

I request from you guys visual recognition.

This is the link of the shop i ordered my seeds :

i took 1 per veriety : pictures from website

- ohio dutch
tabac-ohio-dutch-ab.webp

-blond virginy ( pointless picture )
tabac-blond-de-virginie-ab.webp

gold leaf orinco:

i do not especially trust the shop more than any other boutique.

i prefer to ask to you; are the pictures correct about the variety ?

I make some pictures of my stuff for you to compair, because seeds are coming and do not want to mess everything.

Some elements i take in consideration :
quality of ground :
- some in wood pot with potting soil

- some in a garden with a clay ground ( south france, grapes lands essentially. that did not receive anything to enrich ground.
and some in a corder of the same clay ground BUT at half shadow luminosity, and the spot received all the humus i took from the abandonned garden when i recovered it ( was full of rocks and shitty plants that i cornered and used as fertilizer ( i made potatoes in it and now some late tobacco are also inside.

here are the pictures of the different forms i have , mainly 3, but some scale factor when on the poor quality ground under the sun.

On the wood pots :

Left wood pot :

Very late growing. much more turning yellow - clear green than 2nd pot ( all is randomized ). in general, leaf is not that long, very narrow, with round nose, young leaves more sharp but tend to go rounder.

in the second pot we have much more diversity :

Middle plant : massive leaves holding way more dark green, very large, very long, huge stuff.

and lhe left plan is another geometry :

it is clearly not the same vartiety just by looking at leaf form factor:
IMG_20221017_151821.jpg

in general the plant with the huge leaves is about 2meter tall, while the med rounded one is 1.5meter tall.

i have another pair here :

and on their right one of the 2 other variety but as in better ground, size make it not that easy to confirm
with the block on the corner of the garden ( next photo , next post, forum limit )

Harvest started on the corner, but all the plants there are giants .... 1.80 to 2m tall. 1 or 2 or about 1m. I can barely see difference in leaves geometry.
As it was randomized, i statistically do not trust i put 12 plants all same variety, so to me, there are differences but i just cannot see them when plants are very developed.

To finish, on the very poor ground, harvested very low yeld, ridiculous, you can tell.

Stilln we can see some geometry differences on leaves : plants just did not grow up. We had July/August @ 40°C 35% hygrometry, it was devastating summer. + i planted them late on ground, about 2/3 may.

Let's not spread subjects and advises : i have many remaining seeds per category and i will redo properly next season, the problem is not here.

It is just i have let some plants to make seeds, and i will use them to make some savage throwing on nature to see how it performs without human intervention, but i want to spread per variety if possible.

Main question is who is what, since i can make some distinctions such size of leaves, geometry, round nose, half round or spike. Very large, letuce salad like, or narrow like feathers. and tall : 2m, 1.5m, barely 1m .

Any suggestion is appreciated.
