There has been a lot of discussion on the topic of how non-commercial tobacco has affect each of us. I'll never forget urge to pull into the gas station to buy a pack of smokes even though I had more tobacco I could smoke in a year. I attribute this urge to a type of psychological addiction opposed to a physical addiction to nicotine.
Another time I'll never forget was when I was visiting my parents (neither of whom smoke) and after about 3 hours, I noticed I had not gone outside to grab a smoke. It wasn't that I wanted to smoke, but I was surprised I hadn't even felt the need to smoke during that time.
I've noticed I smoke fewer cigarettes than I used to and also put cigarettes out when they're 1/2 to 2/3 smoked.
