I am going to ship some plants to a member and was wondering the best way.
Some are in 72 cell trays. Should I try to remove the dirt from the roots and wrap them in wet paper towels. they are 2 to 4 in. tall max.
The other ones were never transplanted from there 6 in. dia. starter pots and are all grown together. should I try to separate each one or leave them bunched together for the trip.
Thanks for any input.

The ones I got from BigBonner had the dirt in the roots. He had them bunched together by variety with wet paper towels around the root ball, and the bunches were put in open zip lock baggies. The box was lined with plastic, a shopping bag would work. The ones that are grown together, just send them as a bunch if they'll fit. I can wet them and separate the roots right before planting. http://fairtradetobacco.com/showthread.php?36-Big-Bonner-s-Seedlings/page2 Post #46 shows the plants Stogie got from Larry and how they were packaged. Thank you so much for the plants. :)

PS - That's a really cool avatar. Boboro is going to love that one. He's had an ongoing battle with the tree rats.
