What is your favorite drink, when you are having a stogie?

Hey All,

I just finished one of my Nic. seco-Nic. ligero (fillers)-Habano viso (binder)-Maduro (wrapper), hand rolled, with a glass of Picnic Blush wine from one of our local wineries. This particular pairing, is fantastic. It got me to wondering what pairings you all might find, are your favorites. Give me some other pairings to try!!

Get a good sipping rum. Not the crap you mix drinks with; but the stuff you sip slow straight up. I'm working thru a bottle of Abuelo Anejo right now. Good rum matches more cigars than any other hooch.

Any hooch you have to mix or ice to tolerate will not work.

Sungrown wrappers have that special twang to the flavor, and they respond to similarly good tequila.

Scotch doesn't work worth a darn for me. Rye is okay.

In terms of wine, a chambourcin is good mouthwash.

American tobacco cured dark, such as a PA or CT Broadleaf , works well with stout. I like Negro Modelo too.

But all the way round, if you don't need alcohol, some plain old hand squeezed lemonade is hard to beat.

I've heard of elderberry wine, but never had any. Sounds great!

Don't have elderberry here!! Or blue agave. Word is UTAH is a good place to start.LOL

I don't smoke C-gars yet, But I lean towards cheap beer and Tequila.

I drank some homemade rye whizz and it taste like top shelf tequila.

1 Part Crown Royal
1 Part water
1 packet Sweet-n-Low.

I usually start with about 2.5 oz Crown.

Do not use any other type of sweetener. Only sweet nlow.

Drink over ice in a rocks glass or tumbler.

Dare you not to like it.
