Wrapping the Ends

Please help! Trying to figure out a wrapping technique so the ends are nice and tidy.

I'm a form-follows-function guy, so I just taper and twist the wrapper at the head, hold it snug with a clothespin until it is dry (no glue), then either move it to the humidor, or smoke it.
