I flue cured mine last year for chits and giggles and then kilned it.
It has a very distinct smell but a very mellow taste. Very light by itself.
For a burly I thought it would be stronger.
How does yours taste?

I will report back when mine is kilned. But it cured beautiful. Have not tried by itself yet.

Air cured mine for a year and now using as cigar filler. Works well for American style cigars along with Havana and CT broadleaf. Mine is mellow.

I can see why it is a filler. I did not know if flue curing took some kick out of it.
Thank you.

OK . had to roll a CIG. Mild and smooth. Easy smoke, nothing really stands out flavor wise. Medium nicotine. Needs a little something like an aromatic oriental for more flavor diversity. Good stuff. Unkilned.

This years YTB leaves came out much darker, redder and heavier feeling, I am curios how they will compare to the previous years. They were from seeds in my 2012 crop.
