Runaway temp controller? Looks like it got hot in a hurry...... Cavendish curing?
Good diagnosis Close,
I calibrated the Rh controller this yr. as per found on line. It Don't work.
I had to re calibrate 3.0 up on the rh.
More steam = more heat also.
Or I should hang the sensor in the bottom.

I think for bulk to work like that, the leaves still should be vertical/ hanging. Horizontal pile probably not so good.

Since you caught it early, maybe just the outer layer of leaf is done?

AmaxB made some racks to emulate the commercial ones a couple years ago, I think it was a good idea for us with a lot of leaf to cure.

I have not ordered my "humidifier" yet, but what I am going to use is more of an atomizer/vaporizer, it creates water vapor without adding a bunch of heat/steam, so should add rh without adding heat.

I had the leaf standing upright. I am going to try it again tho.
The atomizer sounds like a good idea.
I think the coil in the steamer is corroded also, it takes forever to make steam this yr.

Chit I even pay them to help.
These kids have no clue anymore. I think they are breast fed until there

That's a heap of leaf for a single batch. It looks like the storm trooper scene from Star Wars: the Kermit Rebellion.

Bob
never seen it. But I have a Storm Troppers Pinball machine.
It kinda sucks But it is kinda cool in some ways.
No Baccy in the playfield tho.
