You are positively reinforcing my choice of wrapper for my first bulk order! Too bad the snow is flying for the foreseeable future up here and I am a fairweather smoker, so I won't get to enjoy as much as I'd like until, oh, next May or so. But then, life finds a way...

Got the KFC in this morning and I couldn’t resist whipping up a Toscano style cheroot. It’s not a puro as I added some Corojo seco to give it better odds of burning. It smells divine.

I made a couple more cigars post Toscano. I’m pleased with the “perfecto.” Pretty decent for freehand, anyway. I gave it a chisel tip just for fun. The other one isn’t pretty as I was impatient and made it before the binder got into case. Hard to flatten out the leaf. ASP Nic. Ligero, Nic. condego viso, Paraguay flojo seco, vuelta Abajo binder and Eq. Cameroon wrapper. Hopefully I can smoke soon.

Tried the Toscano today. It’s really tasty but would be amazing with some age. I think I will make more of these. Here is some more of of the same blend from last time, except that the two smaller ones are using Sumatra binder. As you can see I am starting to get to know the Cameroon wrapper better and better. That big one will be a highway cigar.

Simply because I am enamoured with the perfecto and after 120 sticks I think I am ready for molding - picked this up on Kijiji and here are a couple from first batch. Still trying to put the S in perfecto Webmost but if you look close enough there is a fish there now I also kinda a shaggy foot (hmmmmm) great aroma when put a torch to it ... this one might be a little too shaggy ...

Speaking of too shaggy, my sister asked me when she heard I was rolling cigars if one could put, ahem, "shaggy stuff" in it. I had to explain how cigars are not inhaled and that you'd be asking for black lung if you tried spliffifying your stogies.
Also, given the weather where we live, a little extra on the feet goes a long way. Those cigars look fit for purpose!

I basically only get to smoke my "factory seconds" these days as I have enough people buying my cigars that I sell all my good ones. This one felt a bit under filled before I put the wrapper on so I just single capped it and kept it. Rolled yesterday.

I rolled a couple imperfectos this afternoon. One with the nipple took me like half an hour to wrap. I substituted KFC for Ligero. I’m liking the chisel head. The one on the right is more of cold chisel I guess. And in case anyone is interested, I took these photos while wrapping the nippled one. I wish could remember where I saw this method for securing a baggy shoulder... I have looked all the way through MarcL’s thread on perfectos but I assume it’s in there somewhere. Just a little glue. I’m happy with how it looks and it is fast and simple, if a bit faffy. The the score-old Victornox was the right tool to make the incision. I did more trimming on the wrapper but couldn’t find a picture. Maybe this is wrong thread for construction pics...

I actually had an opportunity to smoke! I had two of my short filler sticks. I have no idea what ended up in there but they were bloody tasty! I literally cannot do any mechanical work without a cigar. I’ll be driving roughly 260 kilometres (170 miles?) there and the same back to pick up my late great grandmother’s (very) old secretary’s desk which I will be dedicating as a cigar rolling station. Hence the winter tire swap. It has been snowing a lot here.

In this weather, it could be 2 to 6 each way, depending on how many yahoos are out on the road.

Haha, as @ChinaVoodoo said, in ideal conditions, two; I have an 18cm salomon and 62 gauge gordo I made for just such an occasion.
