


To protect a small plot of edible peas, encircle them with a piece of simple fencing, then wrap the exterior of the fence with bird netting.I tried planting peas this year but the deer ate them down to the ground.
Same here! I planted a few Fava beans next to one of my Corojo just to see if it makes any difference.This year I have planted a lot of peas between and around the plants as a test

My entire crop of 80 plants was completely devastated by a severe hailstorm on July 7. It really felt like the curtain had come down, and I lost all enthusiasm for this year's growing season. Now, after nearly a week of pouring love and care into the plants, it actually looks like there might be a harvest after all.
