Don, I Appreciate your Generosity.
The leaf smells almost like your 309 just not as strong. I Havent had time to shread any.
I did Get a chance to roll a cigar out of the sampler I got also. I never have rolled or even tried one. Damm I was stoned off it.
Dont laugh to hard it was my first try, actually smoked pretty good.

I have had friends smoke straight fire cured with the same reaction. It don't phase me Its just realy mild and mellow. I love it. I put strips in my cigars and mix with my cigs.

I love a decent amount up the middle of my cigars to....can't get enough of that Smokey smell and flavor. .we're a bit deprived of some real hole leaf down here..so can't say thank you enough to don being nz's savior of real tobacco leaf..so thanks again Don. ..I've even been converted into smoking it in a pipe since trying Dons fire cured..I bought a few pipes especially to smoke some whole leaf fire cure blends through...so I think I speak for everyone from down this way when I say much apprieciated Don. .it will be put to good use..and enjoyed thoroughly

as to the power of these dark virginia types, you figure people are always ooh'd and aah'd by the strength in rustica varieties which seems to be around 9%, and is low quantity, these darks are around 6+ percent and people are rolling massive cigars out of it, yeah, might be slightly less potent but wow, you have massive sail leaves to deal with. gotta be careful with that VA Dark stuff

dont respect va dark or things like red tips and you might find yourself getting a taste of what you ate last

Initialy yea they do, but I seem to have developed a taste for them.
